CobraGuard, Inc. is one of my favorite investments- Aberration! Ventures, LLC owns approximately 40% of the stock in the company. CobraGuard, Inc.provides outsourced COBRA administration services via the web to over 500 small to large organizations alike.

The company has all that I look for from a business investment perspective- recurring revenue model, lower capital expenditures to grow, high scale economics, a durable competitive advantage and momentum.

I first invested in CobraGuard, Inc. in March of 2003, back when one could count their customer base on one's fingers. Today, the company announced a partnership with the Detroit Chamber of Commerce whereby the Detroit Chamber of Commerce will offer COBRA administrative services to its large base of members. Aside from being the largest chamber of commerce in the country, the Detroit Chamber of Commerce is known to be the most progressive and I believe CobraGuard, Inc. will easily duplicate this partnership with dozens of chamber organizations in the future.
